Sulphurizer (iron sulfide)
The sulfur content of the original molten iron should not be too low, generally above 0.06%, and the sulfur can be appropriately increased to 0.08-0.1%;
(1) It can improve the graphite morphology, make it distributed in the form of fine flakes, and refine the eutectic cluster;
(2) At the same time, sulfur is within a certain range. As the amount of sulfur increases, the length of flake graphite becomes shorter, the shape of graphite becomes curved, and the head of graphite becomes blunt, so it can improve the strength of cast iron It is beneficial to chip breaking during cutting and improves the processing performance of castings. If the amount of sulfur in the original molten iron is too low, the effect of inoculation will also be affected.
(3)Generally it is added by high grade gray cast iron.
